The tiny home was hand-built by my great-uncle (via marriage) - a person I have never met. His name was Charles C. and he and his wife, Betty, lived there. He was said to be a nice man and you can easily see how much he loved his home. Betty C. was an Alzheimer's victim and Charles cared for her himself. He was putting a new roof on the home one day when he felt ill and came inside to lie down. He suffered a heart attack in the tiny hallway and passed away. Betty, being in a poor state of mind, stepped over his body for two or three days before neighbors came to investigate. Having not seen Charlie, they broke down the front door and found him deceased."

"The spooky, if you can call them that, events came later. My father lived there for some time and claimed to have seen him a few times. He moved out and some time later I was preparing to move in. My husband and I came one evening to begin moving a few items in and while he was putting things in the outdoor sheds, I was bringing items into the guest bedroom. I walked through that small hallway many times and although I knew Charles had died in the house, I was not aware he had died in that hallway. As I continued to walk in and out, through the hall and past the darkened master bedroom into the smaller room, I felt "watched" and...this may sound weird, but in my head I heard someone saying "Who are you? What are you doing here?" I didn't hear anything aloud - the words just popped into my mind. I got a REALLY creepy feeling and would't go back in alone.

During our time living there, it was mostly peaceful with a few minor exceptions. Occasionally when wearing a dress, I felt someone tug at the back. Something I am told Charles did to his wife often. Another time we had a weird experience in the middle of the night...the lights in the shed had stopped working and we couldn't figure out why. Weeks passed and we ignored it, using a flashlight if need be. One night, I heard noises out in the yard and peeked out to see one shed light on, the door open and noises coming from it. I woke my husband, who grabbed our only weapon - an old bb gun - and went out to check. No one was there and we couldn't figure out how the light got on. Nor could we figure out how to turn it off - we never knew which switch would correct it and none responded. Eventually, the light just went off again. We don't get along with my uncle particularly well and we moved after two years to Tamarac, Fl. My father and sister live there once again now and haven't reported anything too odd. The idea being that Charlie knows who they are. We've never tried to get his attention, but I feel strongly that any attempt to do so would be successful. He asked: Did you kidnap freckled 6-year-old Adam Walsh from a Sears in 1981? ``Nothing to do with it,'' Jeffrey Dahmer answered, taking another muffin. The word of Dahmer, a sociopath who stashed severed heads in his refrigerator, was instrumental in Hollywood police deciding he was not Adam's killer despite contradictory statements from two witnesses. In December 2008, Chief Chadwick Wagner called a press conference to say deceased drifter Ottis Toole -- long suspected but never prosecuted -- killed Adam. Adam's parents believed it and Broward prosecutors said Toole was the only valid suspect. Case closed. But had authorities fully explored Dahmer's time in South Florida, they would have found more evidence implicating him than Toole, The Miami Herald found. The evidence includes two additional witnesses who said they saw him at the mall with Adam that day, another who placed Dahmer at the scene of an eerily similar abduction attempt two weeks earlier, and people who said he had access to a van fitting an early description of the getaway vehicle. The 29-year-old murder remains among the most vexing unsolved crimes in America, and no one can say with certainty that Dahmer -- or any of the other myriad suspects to drift through the case -- snatched the child.

Read more: http://www.miamiherald.com/2010/03/27/v-print/1551541/adam-walsh-murder-revisited-the.html#ixzz0jzuXksaq

Does the ghost of a serial killer still walk the halls of LaLaurie Mansion in New Orleans? Nelson then allegedly recruited Zamora as a hitman and accomplice, and both traveled across the United States to exact revenge, but according to the Orange County Register Smith’s family and investigators believe the killers were also after the money and jewelry kept in the house.

Zamora and Nelson, are both Vietnamese and originally from Garden Grove. The pair were longtime clients of Jade Smith and had set an appointment with her for a reading on the day of the killings. Officials allege that after taking Smith to breakfast, the pair set their plans in motion upon returning to the house on Bird Avenue. According to Anita Vo’s friends she was lured back to the house that afternoon by a call to her cellular phone.

The presence of Smith's Pomeranian outside on April 22 prompted one of Vo’s friends to contact the police. Both women were found repeatedly stabbed and white paint was poured over their faces, possibly in an effort to hide their wounds.

Five weeks later, Nelson and Zamora were arrested after Nelson used one of Smith’s credit cards to buy a flight to Orange County. Both were held in Santa Ana on murder and burglary charges.

Fast forward to 2009 where Zamora became the prosecution’s key witness and pleaded guilty to two counts of first-degree murder and faces a sentence of 50 years to life in prison. Nelson allegedly persuaded him to take part in her plans by promising to arrange gay sex partners for him.

Nelson’s trial who is ongoing at this time is now claiming that she did not take part in the crime which according to her defense was solely committed by Phillipe Zamora and that she was not even at the scene of the killings.

The trial is expected to resume today in Orange County Superior Court.

About Author
Contact the writer: Marlene@MiamiGhostChronicles.com or (305) 389-0032

Independent Property Company Seeks Haunted Houses To Buy

http://www.miamighostchronicles.com/1/post/2010/02/independent-property-company-seeks-haunted-houses-to-buy.html

http://www.miamighostchronicles.com/1/post/2010/02/independent-property-company-seeks-haunted-houses-to-buy.html#comments

Uncategorized

Time was that haunted houses would stand abandoned for years, owners would have problems selling because of the midnight wails of headless Lords and white ladies walking the corridors. That’s an awful lot of ghost houses out there.

And many sellers have found that they have been unable to sell because of a “presence” in their home.

“We moved into a terraced house in Charlton, South London in 1980,” says Sell Today client Mrs B, now of Taunton in Cornwall. “Almost from the day that we moved in we would hear somebody moving around in the loft early in the morning. We’d smell pipe tobacco really strongly though my husband and I were both non smokers as were the neighbours on either side. At night when we were sitting watching TV you could almost sense that there was somebody else in the room with us.

“We asked around and there had apparently been an man who used to live in the house who killed himself after his son was killed in the Korean War. He was a pipe smoker according to neighbours.

“It never really bothered us until a few years ago when we decided to sell. Suddenly it was as if we had angered the ghost. Things would fall off shelves. The power would fail. Light bulbs would suddenly get bright then dim then they would pop.

“We just couldn’t sell the place. One woman was very interested but when she came to look around she said that the place suddenly grew extremely cold and she could smell something really foul. Another buyer was a doctor and he said that he couldn’t but the house because he could feel something malicious here.”

Mr & Mrs B’s house was bought by another real estate agency after it had been on the books of a local estate agents for a year. The couple were desperate to sell and free up equity to put down a deposit on their retirement dream home in the west country.

“After buying the property, we had one buyer lined up who wanted to live in a haunted house,” says realtor Celia Steward. “Unfortunately after visiting the property she was very disturbed by a presence that she sensed didn’t want her there. Eventually we were able to call upon the services of an exorcist, a chap called Joe who had been an Anglican priest and had studied with a Hopi shaman. He performed a cleansing ritual that seemed to pacify whatever was in the house. Our client bought the house and lives there very happily to this day.”

Accused Psychiatrist Attends Seance for Anna Nicole Smith by Howard Breuer

http://www.miamighostchronicles.com/1/post/2010/02/accused-psychiatrist-attends-seance-for-anna-nicole-smith-by-by-howard-breuer.html

http://www.miamighostchronicles.com/1/post/2010/02/accused-psychiatrist-attends-seance-for-anna-nicole-smith-by-by-howard-breuer.html#comments

Uncategorized

A psychiatrist facing criminal charges in Anna Nicole Smith's death recently attended a séance for the model, who died three years ago Monday.
